Eastwood
Wine Club Members enjoyed a sumptuous three course meal to celebrate
their forty years of making wine and
beer as well as countless tasting of wines from around the world. The
current club Chairman, Linda, spoke of the early days of the club and some of
those pioneers who met up to start the club when home made wine became
popular as commercial wine was rather more expensive than it is now. She
went on to say that over the years so many lasting friendships have been
forged and as can be seen tonight the club continues to thrive. The
toast for the night was to : EASTWOOD WINE
CIRCLE. |
